Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026

These terms govern use of this website. AI Visibility Gap is an independent research property operated by David Wood, based in Scotland, UK. By using this website, you agree to these terms.

What this site is

AI Visibility Gap publishes structured research studies measuring how AI platforms recommend companies compared to how those companies appear in traditional search. This site does not sell services, take on clients, or process payments. Consultancy work applying these findings to a specific company is handled separately by CryptoContent.dev, under its own terms.

Use of research and data

Studies, findings, and datasets published on this site may be referenced, cited, and quoted with attribution to AI Visibility Gap and a link back to the source page. Reproducing a study in full, or republishing a dataset as your own work, is not permitted without written permission.

Downloadable datasets are provided for research and reference purposes. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not warrant the data is free of error.

No results guarantee

Findings on this site describe what was observed at the time each study was run. AI platforms change frequently, and a company's recommendation visibility can shift between when a study is published and when it is read. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of any company's current or future standing with any AI platform.

Accuracy of information

We take care to ensure published research reflects what was actually observed during testing. AI platforms update their models and behaviour often, sometimes without notice, so findings represent a point in time rather than a permanent state. We do not warrant the ongoing accuracy of any published study.

External links

This site links to external sites for reference, credentials, and further reading, including CryptoContent.dev, Zenodo, ORCID, and academic repositories. These links do not constitute endorsement, and we have no control over the content of external sites.

Intellectual property

All original content published on this site, including research methodology, findings, and analysis, is the property of AI Visibility Gap unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute this content without written permission, other than the attributed citation and quoting described above.

No legal or financial advice

Nothing on this site constitutes legal, financial, or business advice. Findings about AI recommendation behaviour are informational and should not be treated as a substitute for professional advice specific to your situation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
